Walk us through your background- Tell us more about you and what you do

I was born and raised in Miami,Florida & I’ve been singing & dancing since I was a young girl. I didn’t start taking my music serious until about a year ago when i released my first album “True Color” . I’d like to think of my sound as a new era R&b artist , neo soul type vibes . But I’m also willing and able to explore other genres .

What inspires you?

Singing period inspires me , it’s just such a release and great feeling. I can honestly say it’s been the easiest way to express myself because in real time I’m very shy and reserved.

What are some of the obstacles you've faced and how has it made you better?

In this industry I’ve caught myself making bad investments with the wrong people ,to any new artist I believe the best and safest way is to stay independent until you’re faced with a deal that suits you best. Don’t jump into anything just because it sounds nice. It’s a lot of con artist preying on young talent , so my advice is to get a team you trust , a lawyer to go over contracts and study the music buisness side of things don’t just focus on you’re image or you’re music it’s a lot more to it.

What do you think makes your music different from other artist?

I speak about things most artist don’t , I’m not trying to keep up with what’s trendy and what will be the best song on tik-tok my music has a deeper message in every song & you’ll hear that with this next coming album “Recharge”.

It's important to give yourself credit; What do you feel is/are your biggest accomplishment(s) to date?

One of my biggest accomplishments this year was starting my website and building my own brand a boutique called “House of Mulan” we are an online store for now but looking to expand. I’m very proud of it , As a artist I didn’t want to sell regular merchandise to my fans with just my name on a t-shirt I wanted to make it more personal and more like minded to my own style so that’s how House Of Mulan came about. Also every thing in this boutique is VEGAN cruelty free products .You can find it under the “Shop” tab on HazelMulan.Com.

What are some things that you still want to accomplish? Overall My goal is to just be successful in this industry and reach a bigger demographic of people and expand my audience to spread light , life & love . Spreading the word of veganism with the BISON movement & the urgency we need on saving this planet. Not to many celebrities use their platform for the greater good but If I had a bigger one I definitely wouldn’t just be another singer. I want to spread knowledge & truth so we can have a better world and future for our next generation. Their is no plan B.

What new music do you have coming up?

My next album will be named “Recharge”.

What do you want people to takeaway from your music?

I want them to feel relaxed , happy, motivated , empowered & beautiful !

Finally, If you had a message to give to any artist coming behind you, what would it be?

Never give up no matter what happens because you never know how close you really are , you could be one song away , one video away , just keep swimming like dori in Finding Nemo 😂❤️.
