K camp has been making melodies slap for a while now but after his major singles “Money baby” & “Cut her off” it seems as if he’s been flying under the radar.

Although his more upbeat tracks are the ones that get the most spins I think his slower tempo songs are the real sleepers.

K camp has always been consistent putting out atleast a tape a year and this one is no different. With the new installment in his K.I.S.S. series he picked up right where he left off. In Kiss 4 the lead single was “FWYB” and man was that banger. But this time, he comes through with even more joints and the features are crazy. Of course we know the success of “Lottery(Renegade)” and “Ice Cold” but the special guest list on these new tracks are ones to get excited about. With features from artist like 6lack, Ari Lennox, Jeremih, Tink, Fabo, Wale, Yella Beezy, Yung Bleu, Jacquees, and more its a very solid list of features from some of the new (and a couple of older) faces in the game.

Just like the other Kiss tapes, this one is just a smooth ride from beginning to end. I really think K Camp deserves more credit then he has given. His ability to make quotable hooks and create a smooth and melodic flow while also rapping or singing i think is impeccable. He makes it seem effortless and he can always make a banger.

Whatever University that was that didn’t want this guy to perform, slept, and hard; but to each it’s own. With his mellow personality type, Im interested to see if he will ever step back into the spotlight. But for now, check out K.I.S.S. 5:
