Recently, I went back to Jacksonville, Fl (where I'm from) to put on a show and the artist gave me wayyyy more than I could ever ask for. Will Summerville was the leader of the pack. His crew "AU" gave energy unmatched as they supported every artist through each set (All 20 of them), and for that I am thankful.

Will Stole the show with his energy as he moved through the crowd meticulously and with his bars as he performed a freestyle where he rapped words starting with the letter A and some how made the word Apricot rhyme (shrugs). Anyways, this is Will Summerville's world and we're just living in it. To learn more about him, tap in below.

Tell us more about yourself, where you come from, your music style etc..

I’m just a small town boy from Greenwood, Mississippi. I’ve been into music for over 5 years now. My style, I think is like none other in Jacksonville to say the least.

As a person what do you want people to remember about you?

I want people to appreciate the little things in life. I don’t do music for the money. A smile is worth more than $1,000,000.

As a musician what do you feel your biggest obstacle has been and your biggest triumph?

My biggest obstacle is the same thing that my biggest triumph is, which is my mindset. I hold myself back a lot, but at the same time I’ve made game changing decisions.

Speaking of triumph I see that you were a recent winner of the S.I.W. showcase, how do you feel about that experience ? (pro's and con's)

It was a dope feeling. Win or lose, the people that were there made it an amazing experience. Everyone in that room made that night memorable.

What do you think your biggest strength was as an artist?

My biggest strength as an artist will have to be my drive of wanting more. From myself and from who I surround myself around.

Going forward, what are your goals for yourself? Let's talk 5 year plan.

My goal is to be on a higher level than what I am on now. I go with the natural flow of things, and as long as I am still rising and learning and growing, I’m doing a good job.

What should people expect from you in 2020?

In 2020 people should expect to see me everywhere. My foot is on the gas pedal and I’m not letting up.

In conclusion, where can artist find you and your music?

I have songs on all platforms ( YouTube, iTunes, Spotify, SoundCloud etc...) Just search “ Will Summerville”
